NINTENDO PRESENTS From beginning to end this album paints a wonderful picture that ties itself into a film only seen in the human mind not translatable to actual film. Arguably the best work HKE has created in my opinion. Favorite track: Your Drink, Sir 鸡尾酒酒吧.

BROKEN_CANYON Girl In The Lexus Showroom is the best track and if anyone disagrees with me, they are incorrect. Favorite track: Girl In The Lexus Showroom.

Crystal Drift The fact that the bonus track was cut from this release because of the "aesthetics" is exactly what's wrong with the direction HKE is going. Good album thoooo

Having originally launched as the first release on Dream Catalogue in 2014, the "Hong Kong Express" project of Dream Catalogue owner Pharaoh M has gone on to develop massive cult status over the past five years.

In 'Romantic Dream', downtempo trip-hop rhythms and emotionally striking melodies come together to form a messy neon haze of sound that transports the listener into a drunken night in Hong Kong, as the accompanying prose suggests.

As we approach the five year anniversary of this release, it is fitting that we launch our new subsidiary company ETERNAL FORTUNE with a reissue of this beloved album, with a brand new artwork co-designed by M himself in association with company leader Nitego.

I love the fact that vaporwave/dreampunk projects like these have such extremely evocative aesthetics they directly fill your mind with sensations you didn't know you had. You'd maybe think it relies on that solely, but it's coupled with gorgeous musicianship + intense production ideas.
